My NFL fantasy football career is continuing its abysmal track record.

As of this week, I am 1-6 for the 2021 season.

I don't really know why I am so bad. I have a squad full of good-to-excellent players. Picking the correct team each week is a struggle of sorts because I like so many of the guys on my roster (that should be a good thing, right?). It's just that - when gameday comes - it seems my opponents' sides are just a tad bit better than mine.

This was the first year in quite some where I started off the season confident that I had drafted a great lineup. The NFL computer rating my team poorly immediately after the draft knocked me, but I made it my aim to prove - or rather, HOPE - that it did better than its projection that it would have a winless season.

My team isn't winless. But it's living right next door to winless. For now.
