One of the clips circulating on social media shows Randy Orton and CM Punk arriving. The latter is greeted by a young child, but is kind of brushed away.
It doesn't look good visually.
One of the lasting images I have of Bret Hart's career is seeing clips of him being greeted by foreign fans. The main example I am drawing is from a WWF trip to India. The video shows Hart swarmed by school children happy to see their hero.
I also recall Hart writing once about a tour he was on (might have been the same one) when one of the child fans got on a bicycle and chased the tour bus as it made its exit. Bret was fascinated by the fan's determination to keep up with the bus.
And yesterday we saw one - sole - child fan pushed aside by someone wearing a Bret Hart hoodie.
Oh, the irony.
