NJPW's Road Map

New Japan Pro Wrestling's president - Harold Meij - published a video a few days ago to explain why the company has not ran shows during the Coronavirus outbreak and is now looking to begin a slow process to resume live shows.

My take away from the statement is that NJPW did the right thing by shutting things up. The 'road map' to returning to business is going to be a long one, but the company certainly appears to have a plan - or rather plans - before normal service resumes.

If it ever does resume as 'normal', that is.

When NJPW starts events back up, it appears as though they'll initially be held in empty buildings. The company's dojos, both in Japan and the US, will also be used. Then, when fans can attend events again, they'll have to wear masks and observe social distancing requirements.

It's obviously going to be a long road back, but it sure was comforting to know that there is a plan in place for the future.
