Best In The East

This post was originally scheduled to be published yesterday.

Going over the WWE investor detail that was released on Thursday it was quite interesting to see that the Beast in the East special has become one of the most watched events on the WWE Network.

It was a show that aired live on July 4th from Tokyo and saw Finn Balor taking on Kevin Owens for the NXT Championship as well as Brock Lesnar taking on Kofi Kingston.

I enjoyed watching an event at that time of the morning so much that I signed up to the New Japan Pro Wrestling's streaming service. That's an irony in itself.

Anyway, back to the WWE Network and its specials.

I hope this means that similar shows like this will be a thing of the future. For example, it would be cool if WWE aired its house show from Madison Square Garden or any of the International tours. It worked with an early start for the Japan show, so it could work for just about anything.

My fingers are indeed crossed.
