But, as soon as I saw that the National Lottery had a special scratch card with twenty-four panels, I thought I would buy one for a laugh.
I'm going to treat it like a proper Advent calendar and scratch off a square every day in the lead-in to Christmas.
I would not be surprised if these cards were around before. However, it's the first year that I came up with the idea of purchasing one.
They cost five pounds and the aim of the game is to find two matching images under each house/panel. What ever amount is written below the images is the prize (obviously!).
As there are twenty-four houses, each card has twenty-four chances to win.
