I recently tried a couple of new tomato ketchups that have been produced by Heinz.
The first one I sampled has a hint of pickle.
I tried it on some hot dogs and it went well with the mustard I also added to the sausage.
Even though I thought the ketchup complimented the meal, I couldn't help but feel it would go even better with a burger because the condiment's flavour reminded me of a Big Mac.
Ironically, the smokey bacon flavoured ketchup may have gone even better with the hot dogs than the pickle flavour did.
Instead, I tried the Heinz Tomato Ketchup - with a Smokey Bacon Flavour - with a Spam fritter. I liked it a lot.
To be fair, I liked them both.
Next time, I'll try the smokey bacon ketchup with hot dogs just to see if I am right about the potential they have together.
Both ketchups get thumbs up from me.
