The FA Are A Joke

The FA found Queens Park Rangers guilty of two charges in the hearing I wrote about yesterday.

This means that Queens Park Rangers will remain champions of The Championship and not be deducted any points. However, they will be fined £875,000.

Yeah, you have read that right.

I've always assumed that if you break laws and are found guilty, you have to pay the consequences.

£875,000 is nothing. A tap on the bum for being naughty. Nothing more, nothing less.

I hope teams like Luton Town and Leeds United are taking note. They were crippled financially after being found guilty of similar offences.

And let's not forget about the other clubs below QPR in the table. You know, the ones that did their business by the book. They too should be compensated, too. Funnily enough, two of these clubs are Welsh.

Am I reading too much into this?

I don't think so.
