I've been listening to some classic American radio shows from the 1950's and beyond recently.
With the American sports stations having their NFL coverage dry up for a while, I decided to search through other channels and found a place dedicated to radio plays.
I had never been interested in these plays before, whether they be present day or ones from the past but I got listening and found them interesting.
I have heard to a few detective stories as well as a few Twilight Zonesque (I created a new word here) fantasy stories that I liked a lot.
I doubt they are something I will listen to religiously but, at the moment, I'm enjoying them knowing that this was one of the only ways people were able to entertain themselves via the media back then.
It has that time capsule effect, if you will.
