The person on the other end asked for a member of my family. She sounded Asian even though the line made her voice sound warbled.
I couldn't completely make out what she was saying, so I killed the call with the following sentence:
I cannot hear you properly. You need a better line if you want to try and scam me.
After saying that, I pressed the button to hang it up.
