Insomnia Finished

In a post published last week, I noted I had started to read Stephen King's Insomnia and was unsure what I thought of it.

At that time, I was thirty percent into the book and did not know where it was going. Well, shortly after the post went live, I went deeper into the story and it certainly did pick itself up.

I ended the post stating I would call the 1994 'Average'. After finally finishing the book a few days ago, I'll go one better and say it turned out 'Above Average'.

I am reading King's work in order of publication. Therefore, I have not read the entire The Dark Tower series. However, there are little things in Insomnia which are meant to make more sense to those who have read the titles in that series.

With that said, it wouldn't have made complete sense to those reading in the mid-90s (and beyond), would it?
