I have just spent some time checking out videos of the new Robocop video game that has been released for the PlayStation 5.
The game looks really good.
That's the plus.
The minus - I don't own a PS5.
And the game is not going to entice me to buy one even though I like the look of it.
Robocop is one of my favourite movies of all time. I owned the Commodore 64 versions of Robocop and Robocop 2 when they were released in the 80s (I think Robocop 2 may have came out in the early 1990s - it was the only game I owned for the C64 in cartridge form).
As well as owning the Commodore editions, I must have spent a small fortune playing the arcade game of the first movie when I would stay with my relatives in west Wales.
So, with all that in mind, it should come as no surprise to see how much I am intrigued by the fact that there is a new Robocop game for a modern-day console.
Like I said, it looks fantastic...

... while in the midst of writing this post, I realised that the game is also available on Xbox. My stance may have changed.
Both of my nephews have Xbox consoles. I might get hold of this game after all!
