A Warm Start To September

So far, this has been one of the warmest Septembers I have ever seen.

After starting out the post with the above sentence, I thought I would check to see if what I had written is accurate.

Apparently not. The warmest September on record - in my neck of the woods - was two years ago. I don't recall that, so it shows how good my memory is for recalling weather!

Forget 2021. 2023 is a pain. Especially at night when I am finding it hard to drop off to sleep.

It's autumn, dammit. I want cool temperatures and darker nights.
