In yesterday's post, I noted that I had started to read Stephen King's newly-released book: Fairy Tale.
While writing about the synopsis, I mentioned that it reminded me - in a way - of King's collaboration with Peter Straub - The Talisman - which is one of my favourite books that I have so far read of King.
Hours after writing about Straub, something uncanny happened.
Stephen King posted a tweet last night. In it, he shared the news that Peter Straub had passed away.
I find it an eerie coincidence that Straub passed away on the very day that Fairy Tale was released and that I, and I'm sure many others, was reminded of The Talisman (and Black House) before the news broke.
It's a funny old world.
