The Next Stop

The next stop, in my quest to read every book by Stephen King, came yesterday when I started to read Firestarter.

This is one novel I am sure I haven't read before. As well as that, I know that - even though I have seen the cover/poster and its trailer - I have not watched the movie which came out in the early 1980's.

As of the time of writing, I have read a little over fifty-two percent. It - to me - is like a cross between Carrie and The Dead Zone. The latter is one of my favourite books by Stephen King. Therefore, it could find its way near the top of the ranking I am working on as I try my hardest to complete this, what will be, many-year journey through King's work.

Coincidentally, there is a remake of Firestarter coming out next month. I found this out yesterday when I came across the front cover of the upcoming issue of Total Film.
