For the first time ever, a triple header of games is set to be added to the league's schedule.
According to reports, there will be two afternoon games - one aired by CBS, the other by Fox - followed by a night game on NBC.
Christmas Day of 2022 falls on a Monday. Therefore, it's safe to guess that the majority of that week's games will be played on Christmas Eve in their regular Sunday slots.
I've written many times in the past that I enjoy watching the NFL on December 25th when the day is nearing its end. This new schedule means I'll have to get in the mood for football a little earlier than usual.
