Big E Breaks His Neck

I woke up this morning thinking that it was Friday.

My Saturday routine is to wake up and ignore the Internet until I've watched the previous night's episode of WWE Smackdown.

As, in my mind, it was Friday morning - I clicked onto the Internet and found out that Big E had hurt himself during a match on last night's show.

Finally figuring out the actual day, I found myself watching the episode.

I yelled out in shock when I saw Ridge Holland suplex E outside the ring. Could you imagine how louder my yell would have been had I not been prepared for the spot beforehand?

It was very scary. Similar in ways to the Elimination Chamber show a few weeks ago which saw Madcap Moss land on his head in his match against Drew McIntyre.

Unlike Moss, Big E didn't get up.

In the early hours of this morning, for me, Big E published a video from his hospital bed. His neck was in a brace. He revealed that it was broken, but he was able to move his fingers and - I guess - toes.

He seemed somewhat upbeat, but that is the way he always comes across whenever you see him on TV or in interviews.

I hope he repairs well from this setback.
