In April of 2019, I took a 9/1 gamble on Joe Biden to become the next US president. As of the time of writing, he's a betting favourite to succeed Donald Trump.
I have hedged my bet, though.
With Trump the underdog, I took a gamble on him to win a second term at odds of 15/8.
I am now in a no-lose situation. Should Biden win (and I don't think he will), I'll make £31 profit. If it's Trump, I'll have £53 more than I started with.
