The End Of Arrow

I have just finished watching the final episode of Arrow.

What a nice, touching conclusion it was.

A lot of old faces from the series were brought back to say goodbye to Oliver Queen. This included some characters that had died during the programme's run. The explanation for their appearances was that Oliver's sacrifice to save the universe meant that they came back.

That's what my takeaway was, anyway.

The final scenes were something that was set up in the closing parts from last season. Felicity Smoak (Oliver's wife) was brought into the afterlife by The Monitor twenty years after Oliver passed away.

She meets her lover in the place where Oliver first met her - his mother's office in the Queen Consolidated skyscraper.

It was a nice way to end the series.

I'm sure going to miss it. There will be a huge void considering it has been something I've watched religiously since episode one in 2012.
