Poor Form

I read an article on a newspaper's website over the weekend that kind of irked me.

It was all about an actress that was in a soap recently, who has found work as a security guard at a shop/store near her home.

The article not only said the name of the actress. It also noted the store and the town or city where they worked.

This isn't cool.

This person is out there working to pay her bills. She should be allowed to do this without the press writing articles giving out this information.

I can imagine the amount of people who would come out to this particular place to see if they can catch a glimpse of her.

It really is poor form by the newspaper.

And it's not like she's the only actor/actress who has had to work in other jobs outside of their profession. Without knowing for sure, I'd guess there are a lot of people who have starred in TV, Radio and the stage who have - and still do - work elsewhere while still remaining part of the biz.

I've decided not to mention much about the person and her employers because it would conflict my point about her deserving her privacy to make a living.
