I had a fake iCloud email sent to me not so long ago.
It told me my account was used to sign into iCloud on Microsoft Edge from Greenland.
Okay, Father Christmas - what're you doing looking at my stuff!?

3 New Dairy Milks On Their Way (With Two Not Sticking Around)
I've just read that Dairy Milk has created three new bars of chocolate and customers get to choose which one remains a regular bar by voting on them.
The flavours are:
Simply The Zest - Orange flavoured chocolate with almond caramel pieces and digestive biscuit
Choca-Latte - Milk chocolate with coffee flavour creme and digestive biscuit pieces
The Raspberry Shortcake - Milk chocolate studded with raspberry pieces, white crisp pearls and shortcake
The ideas came from individuals who took part in a competition to come up with intriguing new takes on Dairy Milk flavours. I'm unsure what the winner gets other than having their chocolate bar remain in production once the votes are in.
Going by the write-up for each bar, you can forget about me endorsing Choca-Latte. The almond in Simply The Zest turns me off, so I think it's The Raspberry Shortcake.
Cadbury has announced the products will hit stores on June 1st. I will test all three if I manage to see them on my travels.

National Biscuit Day
I read that it's National Biscuit Day today.
I don't eat biscuits regularly, but my favourite kind is Toffypops.
They were popular back during my school days. I stumbled back upon them years ago and they were just as nice.
They have a soft bottom (when compared to other biscuits) with toffee on top of it. Then, on top of the biscuit and part of the biscuit is chocolate.
Also have to give a shout out to Party Rings!

Random Memory: Life Savers Scented Markers
My nephew is staying over for the school holidays and we've had YouTube on today. One of the videos he has watched has had a man and his son make edible school items out of food items.
For example, they make fake glue sticks out of melted Jolly Ranchers.
Watching the video brought back a very random memory.
In the summer holiday before I started high school, I shopped for school equipment on the American air force base in England that my US relatives were living at during the time.
One of the things I bought on this shopping trip was a packet of 'Life Savers Scented Markers'.
Life Savers are sweets that are shaped like rubber rings and come in various flavours. I guess the best way I can describe them is they're kind of like fruit Polos.
Anyway, I haven't thought about those scented pens for years until today. I took a look on Google and found an image. Here's what they looked like.
I remember the red pen was cherry and there was also a brown one which had a chocolate scent. I'd hazard a guess that the purple one was grape. I can't remember for sure!
What a random memory, eh?

The Next Bank Holiday
It's another Bank Holiday Monday over here in the UK.
I don't like looking ahead too much, but the next one is in August. When it comes, it means that American football season is just around the corner.
Not that I use the Bank Holiday to make me know that the season is upcoming. It's always when the annual preview guides begin to get published.
We should start seeing these publications making their way to the shop shelves in no time.

Blazin' On Blazin' 7s
I played one of the new National Lottery scratchcards yesterday and feel it could have been produced a lot better.
In it, you have to scratch off six of the panels with 7s on it. If you find the National Lottery logo (crossed fingers), you win the prize that's underneath that particular panel. If - however - you find a symbol with flames on it, you win the prizes that are underneath all the panels on the card.
I have no problem with the game. I have issue with the layout.
The number seven is a theme of the game. Why don't they have seven panels rather than six?
Furthermore, I don't like the £7,000 prize.
They could have pushed the boat on and went with £7.777 to stick with the 7 theme!

Unsure Whether To Buy DoN
All Elite Wrestling's Double or Nothing PPV will air live on ITV Box Office over here in the UK tonight.
I'm unsure whether I will watch it, though.
I am excited for the new company and all that. It's just that I have things to do tomorrow and I cannot record the PPV to watch at my own leisure.
That is the only reason why I am in two minds whether to stay up and watch it or not.
The main event is Chris Jericho .vs. Kenny Omega.
Hmm.. I really am in two minds and know this will be a back-and-forth decision throughout the coming hours.

The Day After
In yesterday's post, I wrote about it being twenty years since Owen Hart's tragic death.
The thing is, and as I pointed out yesterday, I was watching the event live on TV and it was May 24th for me so my memory of that moment moves from watching the Over The Edge PPV in the early hours of the morning all the way up to going to college hours later in such a daze.
I even remember other random things from that day like buying Snoop Dogg's No Limit Topp Dogg album, hanging out with my friends after college, going home and then heading out to a pub I occasionally went to on Monday nights.
As I said, it was a surreal day spent in a daze, but I remember everything I did as if it was only yesterday.

Where Were You?
If you were to pick five of professional wrestling's 'Where Were You When?' questions, I'd guarantee that the one that asks 'Where Were You When Owen Hart Died?' will be right at the top.
If not top, it would be very near it.
It was twenty years tonight for me. It would have been the early hours of May 24th as I watched the WWE Over The Edge pay-per-view live at home in my living room.
I'll never forget that night. The fact I am writing about it nearly twenty years to the moment should be a testament to it.
I remember all the commotion that was going on as Jim Ross had to cut to a pre-taped video of Owen - dressed as the Blue Blazer - while paramedics and others tried to revive Hart after he fell from the ceiling of the Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri.
The fall was not caught on the broadcast. Nor was the attempt to save the dying, possibly dead, wrestler.
The WWE camera focused either squarely on commentator, Jim Ross, or at the audience as he relayed the seriousness of the situation. Ross would make it clear on many occasions that this was not part of the show.
And it wasn't.
I recall walking upstairs into my parents' bedroom. My father was working the night shift, so it was only my mother in there. I told her what was going on.
My manager at work - who was at his home watching the show - also texted me as this was going on.
The show resumed. I didn't even think for a moment that it was in bad taste to continue a show after an accident such as that.
Later on in the broadcast, Jim Ross broke the news that Owen had passed away from the fall.
Once again, I ascended the stairs, woke my mum up again. This time I told her that Owen had died. Her following question hit me.
It was 'Have they cancelled the rest of the event?'
Or something along those lines.
It hadn't. The show went on.
Owen's death taking place before my eyes - or very close to it at least - is the worst experience I have ever experienced as a professional wrestling fan.
As a wrestling fan, who was initially naive enough to not consider the continuation of the event distasteful, I selfishly wonder what could have been had Hart lived. All those potential matches with the likes of Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho and more who would have began to show up in the WWF/E from 1999 upwards.
More than that - I feel sorry that his wife, and two young children, had to go through that.

Another Season
I am so far behind on the TV shows I've recorded over the past few days. The pile is going to get bigger by Sunday..
Marvel's Agents Of SHIELD is back on British/Irish TV over the weekend.
It's a series I have had mixed feelings about. Some seasons have been great while others have been blah, but I have stuck with it.
I'm looking forward to this year's run because it wasn't so bad last year!

Yet Another Scam Call
I received another phone call from India claiming to be BT this morning. I thought I'd twist our conversation to asking about something very important to me.
Me: Hello?
Caller: Hello this is (inaudible) from BT..
Me: ..is WWE going to BT?
Caller: Err..
Me: You see, Sky has had the contract to air WWE since the 1980's and BT is apparently getting it. Is this true?
Caller: No.
Me: Oh good, so it's staying on Sky? It was making me awfully upset to see it go after being on Sky for most of my life (I begin to pretend to cry)
Caller: Uh, uh.. we have a..
Me: Really staying on Sky? Phew.

2 Hours
I have only had 2 hours of sleep today.
I watched the WWE Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View last night. This meant that I was going to bed when some early birds were starting their day.
The sleep didn't last long, though. I was awoken a couple of hours later and have been resting up here ever since.

Six Nil
Yesterday's FA Cup final was so one-sided.
Manchester City beat Watford by a score of 6-0.
That's not a win, that's a demolition!
I had a very small bet on the game. I opted to go for City to win 3-1. That was bad call, right?!
Anyway, that's me done with football until next weekend.

Going For History
I have had no time to write anything on this blog today.
What I usually do on FA Cup Day is write about the team I'd like to win.
Well, today's wish is for Manchester City.
I'd like to see the team become history makers by winning the domestic treble in men's football in this country.
Sorry Watford, I'd usually go for the underdog. Not today.

WWE To BT Sport (And What I Think About It)
I was surprised - maybe I shouldn't have been - when my friend told me about the reports that WWE is moving to BT Sport.
Yes, WWE is no longer going to be on Sky as of - I believe - the end of this year.
Sky and WWF/E have been tied together for years in this country. Over thirty years in fact. This news is just unbelievable.
But, like I wrote at the start, it shouldn't be THAT much of a surprise.
Sky Sports' ratings for the live airings of Raw and Smackdown have declined massively over the years. Not only that - WWE kind of undercut Sky with the launch of the WWE Network over here in the UK and Ireland as the company was offering live PPV events as part of the £9,99 package while Sky was left to offer the single-purchase events at a little under £15 a month.
What a choice?!
Selfishly, I will be okay with the BT Sport move because I get the channels in high definition and 4K (even though WWE isn't filmed in 4K yet). I don't subscribe to the HD Sky Sports channels, so that's the only positive I can draw from it as it benefits me.
Big picture - this is bad news for British wrestling fans. It's bad news for wrestling in general because BT does not have the amount of potential viewers as Sky has.. or rather had.
Some of my childhood and young adult memories have had Sky and WWE in the background. It's going to be really weird not to watch the shows on those channels anymore.

Another Call
I had a scam phone call from India the other day. The person's alleged name was funny. Here's how the conversation went.
Me: Hello?
Caller: Hello, my name is Steve Martin and I'm calling you from...
Me: (I cut him off) Steve Martin?
Caller: Yes
Me: My name is John Candy.
Caller: Okay, can I speak with the bill payer?
Me: That's me.
Caller: Okay, I'm calling from BT...
PHONE LINE WENT DEAD
RINGS AGAIN
Somebody in the background: His name is John Candy.
Steve Martin: Hello? Why did you end the call?
I HANGED UP
Even though I said I was John Candy, I missed a perfect opportunity to add 'And those aren't pillows!!!' after announcing myself as Candy.

Good Riddance
As I wrote in yesterday's post, I was hoping that ITV would finally pull the plug on The Jeremy Kyle Show. Well, the news has just broken that it indeed has been taken off the air for good.
Thank god for that.
At the risk of repeating what I wrote yesterday - it was a dreadful programme which preyed on the weak and vulnerable of British society. It's actually surprising it has taken this long - and a recent apparent suicide from a guest - for ITV to call time on it.
GOOD. RIDDANCE.

Hoping The Jeremy Kyle Show Is Gone For Good
I found it unsurprising to read that the Jeremy Kyle Show had been taken off the air yesterday following the death of a guest, who had recently been on one of the recorded episodes.
I was not surprised because - when you prey on the weak and vulnerable - as this show absolutely does (you rarely see well-off people on this show), the crap will hit the fan eventually.
It took long enough.
The Sun website reported last night that the person in question failed one of those lie detector tests on one of the upcoming episodes. His partner ended their relationship as a result and he killed himself.
Like I said - in my opinion, the weak and vulnerable are the producers' targets for this show. They're used to embarrass themselves on National TV and - to me - it's not right.
At all.
I don't know whether it'll be back or not, but I have my fingers crossed that we've seen the end of the detestable tripe for good.

Silver King's Death
I was online on Saturday night when news that Mexican wrestler - Silver King - had collapsed while wrestling at a Lucha Libre event in London.
It wasn't looking good at the time I found out. Then, not long after that, it was confirmed that he had passed away.
I watched a clip of the match leading up to and a few minutes after the wrestler's apparent heart attack. It did not make for good viewing.
What really struck me is how long it took for his opponent - Juventud Guerrara - and referee to figure out that Silver King had collapsed.
Not only that - I was also surprised to hear that an ambulance had to be called.
We're all told that timing is important in cases of any kind of medical emergency and I'm afraid that Silver King did not get that. Mainly because of the circumstances, I suppose.
One other thing - these shows should have an ambulance on standby. I know it's more money for the promoter to lay out, but it should be a prerequisite like it is for any other sporting event. They'd not only look out for your wrestlers by doing this, but also their patrons.

It's A Funny Old Game: The European Finalists
I'm sure I'm not going to be the first person to have thought what I am about to write. I know I'm not going to be the last.
Looking back at the past week of football in Europe, I noticed something funny.
If you had looked into a crystal ball five years ago and seen that Liverpool were going to play Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal to play Chelsea in European finals, you'd have assumed the first would be in the Europa League (UEFA Cup) and the latter would be to crown Champions League winners.
Only this isn't reality.
We have Liverpool and Spurs in the Champions League final and the other two teams competing against each other in the Europa League.
It's a funny old game.

Another Starr Headline
In yesterday's post, I wrote about The Sun Newspaper's story about Freddie Starr and a hamster from the 1980's. The reason why is because Starr passed away a couple of days ago.
I'm back today with another Freddie Starr and The Sun post because the newspaper once again had a headline about Starr and the hamster yesterday.

I know it's playing into the 'Freddie Starr Ate My Hamster' story, but it's a lame headline because the hamster wasn't 'his'!
That's pedantic of me, I know...

Freddie Starr And The Hamster Story
Freddie Starr, the comic and musician who was a household name in the 70's, 80's and parts of the 1990's, passed away yesterday at the age of seventy-six.
Something that I'll always remember about him is the ludicrous headline from The Sun back in the 1980's which stated 'Freddie Starr Ate My Hamster'.
Here's what happened.
The story alleges that Starr was at the home of a lady named Lea La Salle. Starr asked her to make him a sandwich. She refused, so Starr ate her hamster which had been placed between two slices of bread.
Apparently. Starr's publicist at the time - Max Clifford - allowed the story to make the press because he thought it would help ticket sales for Starr's upcoming concerts.
Another apparently here - the news did help Starr's UK tour to sell tickets.
Starr has always denied the story and even mentioned it in his autobiography, which was published nine years ago, when he wrote that he has 'never eaten or nibbled a live hamster, gerbil, guinea pig, mouse, shrew, vole or any other small animal.'

A Crazy Week Of Football
It has been such a crazy week of football.
On Tuesday night, we witness Liverpool make it to the Champions League final after beating Barcelona by a score of 4-0. They had entered the game 3-0 down after the first leg.
Then - last night - Tottenham Hotspur, who were 1-0 down against Ajax after the first meeting, went to Amsterdam and let in another two goals in the first half and managed to come back in the second half to win the game 3-2. The three away goals booked their ticket to the final.
Great for British football!
I wish I had bet on a Liverpool .vs. Tottenham final. I saw it advertised on Tuesday night, but didn't think Spurs would fare well in Amsterdam.

A PSA
The following is a public service announcement to anyone who thinks it's okay to be using your phone when you're being served at a till.
You are rude.
Seriously.
I've just returned home from a trip to the shops and the person in front of me in the queue was having a conversation with a friend while the lady behind the counter was trying to assist her.
For me it was bothersome because I think the person in front could have been served more promptly had she not spent her time nattering away.
What really irked me was she had a bunch of loose change. Her bill was £18 something and she whacked all the coins on the counter and said 'I think there's twenty there' leaving the lady at the till to count away until she had the correct money.
Put down the damn phone for a moment, count your own money and hand it over.
You rude lady.

Wave Of News
It has been another day of endless Royal Baby coverage everywhere I've looked since Prince Harry and Meghan revealed to the world that they've had a baby boy.
The first four stories on the news website I went on this morning have covered it. To be fair, it was worse yesterday when the news first broke.
Yes, I know I'm not helping my cause by writing about it myself!
The next wave of stories on the horizon will be when the child is named. The ETA on that is within the next twenty-four hours...

DQ'd
Here's a funny(ish) story for you.
On Saturday night, I came across a 'tip' for a horse that was running in the Kentucky Derby. I thought I'd have a very small bet on it for a laugh, so went online to have a wager.
In the short time it took for me to find the web page with the race on the betting website I was using, I forgot the name of the horse. Or rather I mis-remembered as I picked a horse I thought sounded like the one I was meant to bet on.
The horse I accidentally backed was Maximum Security.
I only bet £1 each-way on it, so thought I'd back a few other horses in order to round my wagers up to £10.
Those who know the result are sure to be aware that Maximum Security won the race only to be disqualified twenty minutes later. A stewards' inquiry decided the horse had impeded others in the race.
65/1 outsider - Country House - was then declared the winner.
As for me? I was gutted because none of the other horses I had backed after my mistake ended up winning. It was typical of my luck - the horse I accidentally backed goes on to win only for it to end up being DQ'd.
Fortunately for me, I woke up yesterday morning to an email from the betting firm I chose to bet with. The company told me that - per a special ruling - they declared Maximum Security AND Country House as winners.
I ended up getting back £10.70.
Yes, that's 70p profit but I am not going to complain. I went to bed thinking I had lost a tenner!

'Cardiff City Relegated From Premier League'
Cardiff City's time in the Premier League is once again over after the team were relegated from the division following their 2-3 loss to Crystal Palace yesterday evening.
It's a pain to see them go from a great promotion campaign one year to failing to stay up the next. We've been there before.
However..
Looking on the bright side, the team was still safe - technically - until the penultimate game of the season. That's a heck of a lot better than what happened in 2013/14 when they finished bottom.
I hope Neil Warnock stays with the club. He has been a very good manager. It has been a trying time, but on and off the pitch, but he kept things going in my eyes. Losing him would be even more of a backwards step, in my opinion.

Harrison Ford Pays Tribute To Peter Mayhew
Seeing as it's Star Wars Day and Peter Mayhew has recently passed, I thought I'd once again write about Mayhew. This time, however, I thought I'd share the statement that Harrison Ford made following the news:
Peter Mayhew was a kind and gentle man, possessed of great dignity and noble character. These aspects of his own personality, plus his wit and grace, he brought to Chewbacca. We were partners in film and friends in life for over 30 years and I loved him. He invested his soul in the character and brought great pleasure to the Star Wars audience. Chewbacca was an important part of the success of the films we made together. He knew how important the fans of the franchise were to its continued success and he was devoted to them. I an millions of others will never forget Peter and what he gave us all. My thoughts are with his dear wife Angie and his children. Rest easy, my dear friend...
Such a nice tribute.
Such a nice tribute.

Peter Mayhew Passes Away
Peter Mayhew, who is best known for playing the wookiee - Chewbacca - in the Star Wars movies, has passed away at the age of seventy-four.
The seven foot three inch giant first played the character in 1977's Star Wars and continued to play the role right up to filming certain scenes of The Force Awakens - the first film in the latest trilogy.
It's always a shame to see people who played a bit part in my childhood pass on. Chewbacca - and as a result, Peter Mayhew - have been there with me from my early years right up to the present day.
I've seen Mayhew out of his costume many times. Not in real life, but in documentaries and other things. He was obviously not getting around well due to his giant body ageing in his later years. I know he would attend conventions and assistance to get around. I recall reading he had a walking stick which was shaped like a lightsaber!
That right there proves to me he was Star Wars through and through.

Another Twenty-Five
I found out that I won another £25 on the Premium Bonds.
The result was from the May draw, which was announced this morning.
Not bad, eh?

I've Watched The Sonic Movie Trailer
I watched the trailer for the Sonic the Hedgehog movie yesterday.
Oh boy.
This film does not look good at all.
It's coming out at the end of the year and I think I'll give it a go just for a laugh.
Jim Carrey is in it. He plays Doctor Robotnik - the baddie from the video games.
This movie is twenty-plus years behind for me. I would have loved something like this to come out when I was younger.
Albeit something better than what I saw yesterday.
If you haven't see the clips, seek them out right now!
