I have just found out that Ray Wilkins has passed away at the age of sixty-one.
Wilko is a legend in football. Not just from his time as a player, but also in his later career as a coach.
I never met him, but father did and he told me that - from all of the personalities that he came across in his job - Wilkins was one of the nicest he had met.
Such a shame that he didn't pull through..
