The Euro 2016 final wasn't that great, was it?

In typical Portugal fashion - the team won the game outside of regular time.

The most obvious thing worth writing about today is how Cristiano Ronaldo was stretchered off the pitch in the first half and then came out in extra-time to will his team-mates on to win. To be fair, I thought that was brilliant.

What I didn't like, though, was the cameras going straight to Ronaldo as the final whistle was blown. There were eleven players on that pitch who did all the work. They should have been the first image post-match.

I'm glad it's all over now.

(In years from now, someone might read the headline and wonder why I titled it 'Mothball.' Just for the record, there was a moth infestation during the game and they were flying around everywhere.)
