I've been watching the WWE Network's new series Breaking Ground. It's not too bad.
It's similar to the NFL's Hard Knocks series. Hard Knocks is a fly-on-the-wall documentary of a hand picked NFL team as they prepare for the season ahead. Breaking Ground, on the other hand, is a look at WWE's developmental system.
As with programmes in this genre, you have to overlook a lot of BS. With that said, I have enjoyed the first two episodes so far.
When watching it, something dawned on me.
WWE has the ability to go one better with its own version of NFL Hard Knocks as it can create its own narratives that could go somewhere. The NFL documentary series is restricted in ways as they cannot determine for certain how far certain players will make it through training camp.
It airs on the WWE Network at the conclusion of Raw.
