More NJPW World Gushing

I know I have been going on and on about it, but NJPW World is so awesome!

This has been such a great summer for me as a wrestling fan spending the mornings to early afternoons catching some amazing matches from NJPW's G1 Climax 25.

The mid-way point has now been passed. It's all downhill from here.

Today is a day off, but it'll be back to business on Friday to Sunday at 10:30am BST. In fact, the rest of the tournament begins at that time apart for the final night (morning for us) which will begin at 7am on the 16th.

I really hope the streaming service will be around for years. These summers are going to be great!

It's well worth the five pounds and change that I paid to watch for the month. I'll continue with the subscription beyond the end of the tournament, anyway.

It's quite funny in hindsight. Back in the mid 1990s I would spend at least £7 purchasing tapes of Japanese wrestling on the underground tape trading scene that was popular for fans back then. These tapes weren't in the best of condition visually as they were copies of copies (and probably copies of even more copies!) and I am paying less than that for nineteen shows. And getting a brilliant picture on top!

Okay, that's me done for now. I'm sure I've written all that before.

If you're tired of WWE and haven't ever considered watching New Japan, I really do recommend you check it out. The past few weeks have been great.
