Sid For The Hall Of Fame?

One of the predictions I forgot to add in my predictions for 2013 post on January 1st was regarding Sid Eudy and the WWE Hall of Fame.

I would not be shocked at all to see Sid in the class of 2013.

It makes perfect sense.

Sid came back to World Wrestling Entertainment in 2012 taking part in the celebration of Monday Night Raw's one thousandth episode.

It was the first time he appeared on WWE television since 1997.

Now that he is back on reasonable terms with the company, don't be surprised to see him return for other one-off appearances like the twentieth anniversary of Raw next week.

The reason why I think he is a perfect candidate for this year's Hall of Fame is due to the venue.

Madison Square Garden is hosting the ceremony and MSG is the place where Sid - then known as Sycho Sid - defeated Shawn Michaels for the WWF title at the Survivor Series in November of 1996.

I'm not saying he should be the main draw for the ceremony. He should be one of the names, though.

We'll find out soon just who will be getting the nod.
