Felled Trees

I have been playing a new Ladbrokes Ladders game online called Money Tree. It was like the usual Ladders games but this time there were five games to win and the top four were paid out. The winner on the final table won $3,000.

The first level (or branches as they were called) cost $10 to enter and out of the two games I had a go at that stage I managed to qualify to level two.

As for branch two - well, I lost in the first attempt at playing the table. I didn't even get a chance at attempting it a second time.

Ladbrokes seem to have stopped the game after just a week.

I was credited the money owed to me for winning the initial table and the game list does not include the Money Tree option.

I guess a lot of people must have been entering the games at the $10 fee and not buying in at the higher stakes tables thus there were not enough money going in to the prizepool and having the company paying up more than they had anticipated.

Ladbrokes must have finally figured out once and for all that money doesn't grow on trees.
