The Fall Begins

The fall of Cardiff City, from the Premier League, begins here.

The club's Malaysian owner, Vincent Tan, finally relieved Malky Mackay of his job yesterday in what has been quite a pantomime over the Christmas period.

Mackay took Cardiff City up to the Premier League. He had done a magnificent job keeping them out of the relegation zone. You know why?

Because he managed. And he did it well.

It won't take long for this upheaval and unrest to play out in the league table now.

It's BS like this that really sours me on football. Owner mismanagement ruined my support of Newcastle United years ago. What's going on in Cardiff is a heck of a lot worse.

Good luck to whoever gets the job. They're going to need it.

And then some.
