I recently dedicated a post to the contract situation between Hulk Hogan and Total Nonstop Action. In it, I noted how his deal is to end on October 1st.
Well, today is that day.
According to the TNA spoilers for an upcoming episode of Impact that was taped last week, Hogan is written out of the show with TNA owner begging him to stay.
And when I typed 'begging him to say', I meant it.
The reports are Dixie goes onto her knees hugging Hogan's legs pleading with him to stay with TNA as he is walking out of the ring.
My first thought, other than to think Carter is crazy to do such a thing either in storyline or real-life, is that it is an angle to lead to The Hulkster's eventual return.
And if not?
If this is TNA's way of writing out Hogan, Carter may as well call it a day because she has just made her company look even more second-rate by making it evident that Hulk Hogan means more to TNA than any of the other rostered talent.
It will be interesting to see where this is going.
