It is always interesting to read about who is being lined up to appear in The Expendables movies. This past week saw an interesting name added and another one subtracted from the third movie in the franchise.
According to Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis wanted to be paid four million dollars for four days work. He balked at the idea of a three million for the job..
Crazy.
So, with Mr.Church is not going to be appearing in The Expendables III. Harrison Ford has now been signed up as Willis' replacement in a similar role.
Ford is a great substitute. After all, the idea behind The Expendables franchisee is to bring together an ensemble of action movie stars from the 1980s and '90s.
He ticks all the boxes.
I believe filming for The Expendables III begins this autumn. Other stars rumoured to be making their debut in the franchise are; Wesley Snipes. Mel Gibson, Jackie Chan and Steven Seagal. They'll be joined by the returning Mickey Rourke as well as franchise regulars Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Terry Crews, Dolph Lundgren and Jet Li.
