Spreadsheet Picks For The NFL's Divisional Round (2025/26 Season)

The divisional round of the NFL playoffs begins tonight. Just like last week, I was curious to see what my spreadsheet selected for the Buffalo game.

I did more than look into it, though.

With stats from the four games in front of me, I thought I'd check what the spreadsheet predicts for each.

I decided to keep the Bills game last. Here's what it has picked for the other games on this weekend's slate.

• For Houston's trip to the Patriots, it has the home team winning, but not covering the three-point spread
• It has the San Francisco 49ers to cover as +7 road dogs against Seattle. However, the Seahawks are the spreadsheet's pick to win straight up 
• It has the Rams to cover and win straight up, as -4 road favourites, against the Bears

And..

If my spreadsheet turns out to be correct, my Super Bowl winner bet - on Buffalo - will progress into the AFC Championship game. That's because it is calling for the Bills to beat the Broncos. Buffalo are +1.5 road dogs for this game.

The Bills versus Broncos is scheduled to kick off at 9:30pm GMT tonight. That'll be followed by the 49ers' visit to Seattle at 1am GMT tomorrow morning. The remaining two games - Houston at New England and the Los Angeles Rams at Chicago Bears - will kick off at 8pm and 11:30pm GMT respectively on Sunday evening.
