The NFC divisional round of the NFL playoffs had an 'upset' last night when the Washington Commanders beat the conference's number one seed - Detroit.
I put quotation marks around the word 'Upset' because, well, because it was an upset. However, for a day or so before kick off, I had a feeling Washington had a chance.
With that said, I only told one person. Maybe two. And I for sure didn't give Washington a chance when I wrote this week's betting post this past Wednesday.
I also didn't get it right as it pertains my guesses for 2025. On New Year's Day, I predicted that this year's Super Bowl would see the Lions face off against the Bills.
We'll see if my guess turns out half-right tonight, and then next week. To get to the Big One, the Bills must beat the Ravens later and will then travel to Kansas City to meet the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.
With hindsight being what it is, I really should have guessed 2025 would see the Chiefs score a historic three-peat of Super Bowl wins in back-to-back-to-back seasons.
