Afa

It is less than two months ago since I wrote about the passing of Sika Anoa'i and now I have to mention that his brother, Afa, has left us.

The two brothers wrestled as The Wild Samoans tag team. As I wrote in June, the two brothers won many tag team titles across a plethora of promotions.

When his active career was slowing down, Afa returned to the then WWF and managed his son - Samu - and nephew, Fatu. The team was named The Headshrinkers. Afa teamed up with them in trios matches on rare occasions before leaving the company in 1995.

Afa's most recent appearances for WWE came in 2007 when The Wild Samoans were inducted into WWE's Hall of Fame and also at the close of 2020's Hell in a Cell event when he and Sika came out to celebrate Roman Reigns' win over Jey Uso.
