One moment, I noticed there were videos of the Kansas City Chiefs' parade to celebrate their Super Bowl win doing the rounds on social media. I clicked a few to watch and then resumed what I was doing.
Within an hour, I was on YouTube and noticed Sky News had a video up stating there had been gunshots at the parade.
I haven't read anything else since waking up. However, as I was turning in for the night, I was aware that one person had been killed and at least nine children were injured in the shooting.
NINE CHILDREN.
Nine children there to witness their team celebrate a feat so few have done.
