I am quite gutted today.
I woke up in the early hours of this morning to the news that Kazuchika Okada and New Japan Pro Wrestling couldn't reach a new deal opening the way for one of the greatest wrestlers I have ever seen to seek a deal with All Elite Wrestling or World Wrestling Entertainment.
My money would be on the former. That's because AEW appears to be swiping a lot of NJPW stars from under its business partner's nose.
Within the past year, we've seen Jay White, Will Ospreay and now Kazuchika Okada move over to the US from Japan.
At the end of the day - the business is PROFESSIONAL wrestling, so I guess I have to be happy for Okada to be getting rewarded.
It still irks me that one of my favourite promotions, in NJPW, is losing its top star.
