The Washington Commanders now have new owners.
The sale was approved by the NFL owners yesterday. It will see a partnership helmed by Josh Harris take over the business from previous owners Dan and Tanya Snyder.
According to the article I read, the sale was worth $6.05 Billion. I looked up how much Dan Snyder paid for the team and it looks like it was for approximately $750 Million.
One of the other 'reports' I have seen online state that the team's new owners are looking to rebrand their new purchase.
Could the former Redskins have yet another new name in as many years? I'll believe it when I see it.
