Every time I write about the annual magazine, I do the same thing: I state how I first came across the publication during the summer of 1995 when I was at a newsagent waiting to catch a bus home from west Wales.
I have been bought these annuals a lot. I cannot guess how many years it has been, but it has been consistent especially over the past decade and a bit.
The online newsagent I buy my copies from always seems to sell the editions that have the most recent Super Bowl winners on them.
Patrick Mahomes, from the Kansas City Chiefs, graces my cover for '23. My friend - who lives in Buffalo - has seen the one for her market and it has Bills quarterback - Josh Allen - on theirs.
Speaking of the Bills - Lindy's thinks they'll make the Super Bowl. However, they'll be defeated by the 49ers.
This isn't the last yearbook I've bought ahead of the 2023 season.
I have an issue of Marc Lawrence's Playbook Guide for 2023 on its way. It could even be in the air - travelling from the USA - as this post goes live.
Football season is nearing. These magazines now being out in the wild proves it.
