I've just finished watching the final episode of Ted Lasso - the Apple TV+ comedy about a American football coach who ends up managing a British soccer team.
God, I am going to miss this programme.
I'm going to remember it for being a series that had a wacky concept that ended up gripping me into wanting to see an underdog achieve.
The characters were brilliant, the writing was great.
All three seasons had some superb, emotional moments. I am really sad to see it go, but - it finished perfectly.
The series came along at a crappy time for the world: 2020.
Need I say more?
At the risk of coming across as shmaltzy, Ted Lasso - as both series and character - was a bright light.
