A New Beetlejuice Movie Is Coming

Here's a bit of movie news I didn't know about until this week - a sequel to the 1988 movie, Beetlejuice, is in production.

I cannot recall how many times I've seen the original film. It was one of those movies I recorded on TV and would pop into the VCR frequently.

The cartoon series would also be on our television now and again, but - to be frank - I wasn't THAT much of a fan of it as I was of the movie.

It looks like a few of the original cast are returning for the sequel. 

Michael Keaton is reprising his role as the title character. You couldn't really do the film without him.

Oh, and Tim Burton is directing it just like he did with the original. 

The film is set to premiere on September 6 2024.
