I'm planning to spend every day of 2023 with the Garbage Pail Kids.
That's because I asked for, and was given, a page-a-day calendar based on the characters that appeared in trading cards back during my childhood.
I love getting Garbage Pail Kids stuff, so the next year should be fun seeing some of the zany artwork every day.
The theme of the calendar is 'Bizarre Holidays', so there are going to be a lot of crazy 'National Days' coming up.
Yesterday was, according to GPK, 'National Hangover Day'. I call that fair considering the night before was New Year's Eve.
As you can see, the picture associated with National Hangover Day is of a Garbage Pail Kid called 'Empty Ken' who is a can of root beer.
I look forward to see what else the artists have in store for '23.
