Below are some predictions for the upcoming year. I'll revisit this post on December 31st to see where I went right.. but mostly wrong!
- Kazuchika Okada will beat Jay White at the Tokyo Dome three days from now
- The Buffalo Bills will make it to the Super Bowl
- Here is a huge hedge: The Rock, Sami Zayn, Cody Rhodes or Steve Austin will win the 2023 WWE Royal Rumble
- There are reports that Becky Lynch .vs. Ronda Rousey is not in the plans for WrestleMania. If so, I’m going to guess Rousey will face Shayna Baszler at the event.
- Danny Dyer will compete on one of the reality shows like Strictly or I’m a Celebrity
- This year's NJPW G1 Climax will have Claudio Castagnoli as a participant
- Manchester City will win the Champions League
- The return of Neighbours will be regarded as a letdown by fans because a lot of the stars would have moved on to other projects
- To continue what has become an annual deal, the Indianapolis Colts will pick up another quarterback who has either been let go or traded away from his current team. This year's QB will be.. Derek Carr
- A female writer will win the Booker Prize
- In 2022, I set a goal of reading 5 Stephen King books. This year, I double it - I shall read at least 10!
- My nephew's baby, due in March, will be a female
