On May 17th, I published a post titled Magnum P.I. Cancelled. It was written after finding out that CBS had decided to end the reboot series after four seasons.
I thought that was it.
However, yesterday morning, I was searching IMDB and noticed that the programme has been revived before it was given last rites.
NBC picked it up for two further seasons. To show how out of the bubble I am with American TV, this decision was made back in June or July.
In the post from May, I noted that I was sorry to see it go. I am obviously happy to find out that it'll return early next year.
Now I have to hope it returns to Sky.
The positive part of NBC being involved is that Sky is a division of Comcast, which owns NBC Universal.
