I'm publishing the Thursday Night Football post a day earlier this week because I am planning to write something about tonight's Booker Prize ceremony in tomorrow's post.

Last week, my NFL betting spreadsheet went 2-0 in picking the side and total in the Thursday Night Football game between the Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals.
The result improved - if you can call it that - the Thursday night win-loss to 6-7 for 2021.
Now the focus is on the week nine fixture which sees the New York Jets travel to Indianapolis to take on the Colts.
The spreadsheet has Indianapolis winning by nine points. It projects there will be a total of forty-five points scored in the meeting.
The current point-spread line lists the Colts as 10.5 favourites. Therefore, the spreadsheet is suggesting that the Jets will lose, but cover the spread. As for the total - it is currently set at 46.5, so the call is to go under.
Recommended Plays
New York Jets +10.5
Under 46.5
Here is a database of results of previous meetings between the two teams since the 2001 season.
There isn't much I can see that'll convince me to side with my spreadsheet.
The Jets didn't cover the last time they were priced as double-digit road underdogs to the Colts. This game was last year. Maybe, and this is a huge MAYBE, this could be the revenge spot for the Jets.
Also - the last time the total line was set at 46.5, the game went Over.
