I went with four selections in the £5 wager. They were:
1) Over 2.5 Goals
2) Over 2.5 Cards
3) Over 2.5 Corners For City
4) Both Teams To Score In Both Halves
One leg let me down. It was the fourth selection.
The thing that irks me about the loss is I was contemplating having a bet on there being a red card rather than going for the both teams to score in both halves. If I had, my gamble would have paid off because Arsenal's Granit Xhaka was shown a red in the first half in his team's 5-0 loss.
Losing the bet was the bad.
The good is - due to a promotion from the bookmaker - my wager was refunded as a free bet because only one of the selections let me down.
So, technically, I haven't really lost. Yet!
