Morrisons' Super Bowl LV Food Box

A few weeks ago, I received an email from NFL UK informing me that the supermarket chain - Morrisons - was doing a special food box for the Super Bowl.

For £25, customers would get the box delivered on the Friday or Saturday before the big game. Inside would be: a cheese and tomato pizza, a pepperoni pizza, original Doritos, cheese Doritos, Doritos salsa, grated cheese, guacamole, sour cream, Pepsi Max and a bag of crispy M&Ms.

As well as the food items, the box also contained party items like paper cups and plates, balloons and bunting.

There was also a chance to win one of 100 American footballs.

I thought I would give it a go, so placed an order. It arrived yesterday morning.

In this post, I'll look inside and show you all the Super Bowl items that came with it.

For starters, there was a picture of this year's Super Bowl logo on the side of the box.

This is what it looked like when I opened it. You can see the two packets of Doritos. The thing on the left was where the pizzas and grated cheese was sealed up. I have to admit, the insulation was very well done. There was also two bags of ice to keep it artificially refrigerated during its delivery.

Here's one of the paper cups bearing the Super Bowl logo.

And a paper plate.

The red colouring continues with a balloon with the LV Roman numeral.

This is one side of the bunting. On this part, you see the date of the game.,,,

...while the other part has the team I would like to win the host venue of Tampa Bay.

There was also a glossy page with a head-to-head write up on one side while, on the other, there was a code to purchase a subscription to Game Pass (no thanks - not until there's a better streaming partner involved!)

I guess you're looking for the picture of the American football.

Unfortunately, I wasn't one of the 100 customers. I have no regrets. I knew the odds of getting a box with a ball in was slim. I am happy with what I've got. As are my family members, who'll also get some of this.

I'll certainly do this again next year if there's a similar promotion.
