Rivers Retires

Philip Rivers has called time on his professional football career.

The quarterback, who spent sixteen years with the Chargers and recently spent a season with the Indianapolis Colts, made the announcement yesterday.

There were a few times, especially during the 2007 season and the most recent season with the Colts, that I thought he was primed to take his team to the Super Bowl. 

Alas, that didn't transpire.

With all that said, I have no doubt he'll be inducted it to the Hall of Fame.
