How My Both Teams, Both Halves Gamble Fared

On Saturday morning, I published a post titled A Spur Of The Moment 'Both Teams, Both Halves' Gamble

In the post, I wrote about a bet I had placed on the weekend football. I chose five leagues and randomly picked a game from each of them to have both teams score in both halves. I put them all in a Lucky 31.

This is how it went.

Japanese J League: Nagoya Grampus .vs. Vissel Kobe 10/1
This was the first game of the weekend as it kicked off at 9AM BST. The first goal was scored in the fifteenth minute by Hotaru Yamaguchi for the away team. The home side levelled it up in the forty-second minute to keep my hopes alive.

My hopes were once again boosted when Mu Kanazaki scored his second of the day for Nagoya. However, the hopes were dashed when Vissel Kobe failed to score another.

The final score was 2-1.

Spanish La Liga: Celta Vigo .vs. Valencia 16/1
This one came close. It was 1-1 at half-time, but the home team won 2-1.

German Bundesliga: Eintract Frankfurt .vs. Arminia Bielefeld 11/1
The score was 0-0 at half-time. I stopped caring after that!

US Major League Soccer: Orlando City SC .vs. Chicago Fire 11/1
The final score was 4-1 to Orlando City. It was 2-0 at half-time.

English Premier League: Southampton .vs. Tottenham Hotspur 14/1
I ended with a winner. The Southampton versus Spurs game was 1-1 at half-time and ended up 2-5. Southampton scored a penalty in the late stages of the game, so it was a close call.

With there being only one winner on the Lucky 31, the 14/1 odds for the winning selection were doubled. The bet returned £4.93. This meant I lost 34p.
