When I first started sampling Walkers' latest range of 'Taste Icons' crisps, I thought I'd only look out for the Pizza Express Margherita and Gourmet Burger Kitchen Cheeseburger flavours.
Well, five flavours later, I have finally found - and tried - the Las Iguanas Chilli Con Carne variety.
Let it be known, I dislike chilli con carne, so I was not looking forward to sampling this flavour.
With that said, I have to be fair - the crisps tasted just like chilli con carne.
And I liked them.
Yes, I hate the real thing, but these tasted nice. So nice, in fact that I had to place these crisps in a high position in the rankings.

- Yo! Katsu Curry
- Nando's Peri-Peri Chicken
- Pizza Express American Hot
You read that right. The crisps I had low expectations for ended up being the flavour I ranked above some strong favourites in the cheeseburger and pizza.
My decision to go with the Chilli Con Carne flavour at the top is because - most importantly - they tasted nicer than I expected and are unique enough to be worthy of going first ahead of flavours I am sure I'll try, in some form or fashion, in the future.
