No More Arrow

I am so gutted right now.

It started last night just before I was about to head off to bed. Somebody on my Twitter timeline had retweeted a post by Stephen Amell - star of Arrow - in which he broke the news that the series will be done at the end of the year.

As I am sure I've written many times on this blog in the past, and will surely do right up until the autumn, Arrow is up there as being of my most favourite programmes on TV.

Has been for many years.

I've watched it - and all of its spin-offs - religiously since it first came on UK screens via Sky One seven years ago.


I really can't think of another moment when I learnt of a programme ending where I've felt as numb as I do now. The Bill was another series that I went out of my way for and I guess there was a bit of sorrow on my behalf when ITV announced its end.

I'm going to miss Arrow so much...
