I won my first bet of the weekend.
A friend of mine told me about a heavy gamble that had been made by somebody on a German third division game. He bet thousands on one of the fixtures to have over 2.5 goals.
I had a look at the odds. The best I could get was 19/20, so took a £20 gamble myself.
The final score: 4-2.
Winner, winner.
I'm now hopeful that this was the beginning of a profitable weekend.
