I wrote a post in January titled Las Vegas Raiders where I noted that the Oakland Raiders were reportedly going to relocate to Sin City.
Well, it's all official now.
The NFL owners, who had to vote on this, went 31-1 in favour of the move.
This is interesting because the NFL has always stated that it didn't want a team in Las Vegas due to the fear of corruption with sports betting.
I wrote in January that it was an inane reason. I still do.
Anyway, this makes it THREE team moves within two years with the St Louis Rams moving back to Los Angeles, the former San Diego Chargers also heading to LA and now Oakland moving across to Nevada.
